~ Caught In Silhouette ~
Photography is an art with many aspects. Behind an every good photograph, there is a balanced amount of light; in technical language we call it as a ' Perfect Exposure '. Depending upon the amount of a light entering into the camera while clicking, a photograph is differentiated into three types viz. over-exposed, under-exposed and perfectly exposed.
Sometimes, things get more interested if we under-expose the frame. This is the essence of Silhouette Photography. We adjust our camera settings in such a way that only outline or shape of the body is visible having zero details of the interior parts.
First and foremost requirement of the Silhouette Photography is; you must click against the light. It means that your subject must be sandwiched between available light source and the camera.
Then, your subject must be under-exposed. This is a bit tricky and can be achieved by having a command over ISO ( sensitivity ), Shutter Speed ( how fast the shutter is ) and Aperture ( opening of the lens ). Once you understand to control the exposure, the technical job is done and now artistic aspects kick in. These aspects determine how beautiful your photograph is !

I hope; this post will definitely give you some basic understanding about the Silhouette Photography. Do take proper care while exposing the camera directly to the intense sunlight. For beginners, Golden Hours (early morning and late evening light) are recommended. Keep experimenting, beacuse after all, it's all about directing viewers to your Artwork.
Thank You...

~ A Discrete Story Telling ~
After undergoing through the many levels of Amateur Photography, now, what i believe is; photographs can convey strong messages to the society. It all starts with having a camera and clicking pictures just for the fun. Gradually, interest starts growing and instead of just clicking, you look for Compositions. You start finding subjects in compositions. You never get satisfied by just clicking it once, you repeatedly keep exploring different angles to make it damn perfect and it is the never ending process!
It's my maiden attempt to tell or to explain Point Of Views looking at the Life with the help of self-clicked photographs.
'' Hard-work is the key to success. The path may seem to be endless, never mind, keep following it. ''
" Your ideas should be sharp and crystal-clear. "
" Don't be afraid of the darkness, embrace your inner soul and keep shining. "
" Be a turbulent, it shows how passionately dynamic you are ! "
" Be like a mountain. Stand firm, hold the position against all odds. "
" Calmness of mind is one of the beautiful jewels
of the wisdom. "
" Hope is a good thing, never ever loose it. "
" Live young, live free. "
Don't just click, try to compose a photograph which depicts a meaningful message because,
"Photography is a love affair with life."
Thank you.

~ In The Arms Of Saatmal Range - Dhodap Fort ~
Hello all, keeping all laziness aside, I am back again and it really feels so good when you blog about the place which is near to your heart.
From last 3-4 years I celebrate 31st and welcome a new year by hanging out with mountains. We were looking for such a trek attracting less crowd so that we could enjoy peace and nature more enthusiastically and we finalized Dhodap Fort Trek, Nashik.
On Dec 30th, after packing the backpack, we left Kalyan around 12.30 pm and reached Nashik Bus Depot (old) at 4.30 pm. We boarded direct S.T. bus to Hatti @ 5.30 pm which is the base village of the Dhodap Fort. People in this village are over-friendly.
Due to excitement we couldn't sleep. So, we just passed those dark hours and eagerly waited for a dawn.
As soon as dawn started breaking, we pulled up our bags and started trekking.
After 2 hours of hike, we took a hault for 15 minutes and again resumed to explore surrounding area.
After the sunset-shades faded away, we returned to that old house-like structure and began to cook the food for dinner. After dinner, we star-gazed for some hours and climate changed suddenly.
At 12.00 am we wished each other a Happy New Year and while listening to P.L's Raosaheb story in cell-phone, we fell into sleep.
What a morning it was!!! I was like " was it really January or July month? " Within last 48 hours, we witnessed all three seasons.
With loads of memories, we began to descend the fort. Every trek has its own uniqueness and this one was one of the all time favorites for me. I wish, once in an every year, I would visit this awesome place...
Thank you.

This Fort has remarkable fortification and we can see leftovers of them. Those leftovers are the witnessers of Historic Glory.
After exploring each and every corner of the fort, it took us 4.5 hours to react the top of the Fort.

Now, it was the time to take some rest until the beginning of golden hours. I was expecting some drama in the sky but bad weather was taking its toll. Fortunately, we could witness the last sunset of the 2014.
